NBA Playoffs 2019: Scores and highlights from Nets vs. Sixers, Clippers vs. Warriors image

Day 3 of the 2019 NBA Playoffs is officially a wrap, and it was one for the history books.

In the first of two games, the Philadelphia 76ers used a historic third quarter in which they scored 51 points to earn a 22-point win and even the series. Somehow, the Clippers managed to top that performance using an 86-point second-half to erase a 31-point deficit to earn the biggest comeback win in postseason history

If you missed any othe action, check below throughout the night for score updates, stats and highlights from the action…

Clippers 135, Warriors 131 (Series tied 1-1)

Behind a 36-point, 11-assist performance from reserve guard Lou Williams, the Clippers completed the largest comeback in NBA playoff history after trailing by as many as 31 points in the third quarter.

It's the third time this season that this scrappy Los Angeles team has come back from a deficit of 25 points or greater to earn a win.

In addition to the standout performance from Williams, reserve forward Montrezl Harrell finished the night with 25 points (on 9-for-9 shooting) to go along with 10 rebounds. Danilo Gallinari added 24 points and rookie guard Landry Shamet scored 12 points, including the go ahead 3-pointer in the final minute of the night.

The Warriors were led by 29 points from Stephen Curry while Kevin Durant added 21 points (on 5-for-8 shooting) before fouling out. Despite his efficient shooting, Durant turned the ball over nine times.

A cause for concern for Golden State is the health of DeMarcus Cousins, who exited the game early in the first quarter with an apparent quadriceps injury that head coach Steve Kerr referred to as "significant".

End of third quarter: Warriors 108, Clippers 94

After trailing by 31 at one point in the quarter, the Clippers seemed to have found some fight. They outscored the Warriors 44-35 in the third quarter to make this a 16-point game.

The 44 points are a franchise playoff record for any quarter.

Halftime: Warriors 73, Clippers 50

The Warriors outscored the Clippers by 15 in the second quarter and are up by a commanding 23 at halftime.

Stephen Curry is the game's highest scorer - 22 points on 6-of-9 shooting. With 10 of his 14 points in the second quarter, Kevin Looney already has a playoff career-high.

End of first quarter: Warriors 33, Clippers 25

The two-time reigning champions hold a 8-point lead after the first 12 minutes of Game 2 with 15 points coming from the free-throw line.

Unfortunately, DeMarcus Cousins had to head back to the locker room with reports suggesting that it is an injured left quad .

76ers 145, Nets 123 (Series tied 1-1)

The Philadelphia 76ers score a franchise playoff record 145 points to tie the series at 1 game apiece.

Ben Simmons recorded his second career playoff triple-double - 18 points, 12 assists, and 10 rebounds on 8-of-12 shooting. Joel Embiid put up a double-double of 23 points and 10 rebounds in just 21 minutes of action.

End of third quarter: 76ers 116, Nets 87

The Philadelphia 76ers scored a mammoth 51 points in the third quarter, the NBA playoff record for most points in any quarter , and suddenly this game has become a no-contest.

They scored 51 points on 18-of-25 shooting from the field, including 4-of-6 from beyond the arc and a perfect 11-of-11 from the free-throw line.

Halftime:  76ers 65, Nets 64

A high-scoring second quarter was led by Caris LeVert (10 points) and Rodions Kurucs (8 points) to bring the Nets back into the game. Brooklyn has also buried 10 3-pointers in the first half, tying a franchise playoff record for threes made in a half.

Ben Simmons kept his aggressive play going in the second frame, closing the half with 16 points, six rebounds and six assists. He has 10 field goal attempts in the first half, already surpassing his shot total from Game 1.

End of first quarter:  76ers 34, Nets 28

Ben Simmons is on the attack so far in Game 2 – he has seven points, four rebounds and three assists through one quarter. The 76ers have gotten a huge boost off the bench from Boban Marjanovic, too, who has eight points on a perfect 4-for-4 shooting from the field.

Pregame

After playing just 24 minutes in Game 1, Sixers All-Star centre Joel Embiid is set for Game 2.

Reserve big man Ed Davis is available for the Nets but they will be without Jared Dudley (calf strain).
