Top Storylines and Highlights

Clutch Cam delivers for Brooklyn

An impressive Summer League campaign for Cam Thomas has continued, with a series of clutch buckets helping Brooklyn edge out Washington 84-81.

Thomas finished with 31 points in 33 minutes, finishing 10-for-23 from the field and getting to the line for ten attempts.

First, he nailed this triple to tie the game in the final second of overtime.

Not done yet, he then drilled the sudden death game-winner in ridiculous fashion after losing his dribble and being forced into a one-legged runner from deep as the shot clock expired.

The thrillers continue

The above-mentioned game was not the only thriller of the slate, with San Antonio and Charlotte battling until the final possession.

Capping off a monster 34-point night, Tre Jones put the ball on the floor and went all the way to the rack for this game-winning lay-up.

The 41st overall pick in the 2020 draft is set to enter his second season in the NBA on a Spurs roster brimming with young talent.

Gelo gets it to go!

Talk about a quick release!

LiAngelo Ball stunned the crowd at Cox Pavillion with this incredible buzzer-beater to end the first half.

Ball would come off the bench for 11 minutes of court time, getting his shots up in that burn to tally eight points on 3-for-9 shooting.

OH KAI GOODNESS

Sometimes you just need to see the highlight.

This jam from Kai Jones courtesy of the Phantom Cam adds to the growing list of highlight-reel plays in Vegas.

Exactly how they drew it up?

We'll get to the finish of the Philadelphia-Atlanta game in just a second but we couldn't ignore this play during the third quarter.

Falling out of bounds, Atlanta's Skylar Mays threw up a tough jump shot from behind the backboard. The attempt was offline....or was it an attempt?

Timing is everything and A.J. Lawson was right there to finish the airball/perfectly placed lob..

Coop with the scoop!

The night had to finish with yet another overtime game, as the Sixers and Hawks provided free Summer League hoops!

Trailing by two points with time winding down, Sharife Cooper dribbled left and finished this tough basket to tie the game at 86 heading to OT.

The rookie certainly caught the eye of Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant, who was watching from courtside.

Ultimately, the excitement proved short-lived, with a dominant 8-0 OT period helping the Sixers claim a comfortable win. Tyrese Maxey dropped 31 points in the win.
