Featuring several East Coast stops and a swing through the Midwest, NBA G League Ignite hits the road beginning January for a 10-game schedule featuring games against NBA G League opponents that will not count toward G League standings.
“These 10 games are an excellent opportunity for our team to get more reps against quality G League opponents while facing hostile environments on the road,” said Ignite head coach Jason Hart. “We’re also thrilled to be able to showcase our young Ignite players across the country as they continue to develop in preparation for the NBA Draft.”
Ignite opens its second-half schedule with a pair of games against the Capitanes de la Ciudad de México (Jan. 7 and Jan. 9) before beginning a four-game East Coast road swing, facing the College Park Skyhawks (Jan. 21), Long Island Nets (Jan. 23), Capital City Go-Go (Jan. 28) and Delaware Blue Coats (Jan. 30) to finish the month.
The schedule continues in Oshkosh, Wisc. against the Wisconsin Herd (Feb. 12), followed by a trip to Detroit to take on the Motor City Cruise (Feb. 15) ahead of the NBA All-Star break.
The tour wraps with a pair of Northern California opponents in Stockton against the Stockton Kings (March 6) and against Santa Cruz (March 13) at the Chase Center in San Francisco.
Each of the 10 games against NBA G League opponents will not count in the league standings, which reset after the NBA G League Showcase Cup.
