NASCAR lineup at Talladega: Starting order, pole for GEICO 500 after qualifying image

Talladega is the site for race No. 10 of the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series season. The starting order for Sunday's GEICO 500 was set via two rounds of qualifying Saturday morning.

Thirty-nine drivers tried their hand at earning the pole position. The fastest 10 from the first round of qualifying advanced to the final round.  

Brad Keselowski won the 'Dega spring race in 2021. Bubba Wallace collected his first career Cup Series win in the fall race. Where will they start the 2022 spring event? 

And who will be leading the field to the green flag on Sunday afternoon? Here's a look at the pole winner and starting lineup for this weekend's race.

Who won the pole for the NASCAR race at Talladega?

Christopher Bell secured the pole position at Talladega with a 180.928 lap on the superspeedway. He just came in ahead of fellow Joe Gibbs Racing teammate Martin Truex Jr., who was 0.081 seconds back.

This is the second pole position Bell has secured in his Cup Series career. Earlier in 2022, he won the pole at the Pennzoil 400 with a time of 29.561 on the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. He finished that race in 10th.
