Dominance at Dover Speedway is a hard thing to come by.
LIVE: Updates, race results, highlights from Wurth 400 at Dover
The mile-long circuit can prove a challenge for even the most experienced of Cup Series drivers.
Why exactly? Well, the track shape doesn't do racers a whole lot of justice. Even NASCAR superstar Chase Elliott went through his own odyssey on the rounded surface, dropping 26 straight races before finding his footing.
When things do start coming into place, however, sparks can fly: Elliott took last year's Dover race with ease, leading for each of the final 50 laps. Not bad for a place with such a "monstrous" reputation.
