The NASCAR Chicago street race is back for its second running in 2024.

The tradition was extended after Shane van Gisbergen took home last year's win in dramatic fashion. But before the race on Sunday, NASCAR Cup Series qualifying will take place Saturday afternoon ahead of the Xfinity Series race on the Chicago Street Course.

In addition to the races themselves, there are concerts, festivals and family-friendly activities to enjoy between and during loops around the track.

Ahead of Saturday and Sunday festivities, The Sporting News has the lowdown regarding TV schedules, tickets, where to listen and much more.

NASCAR Chicago street race qualifying time, channel

  • Track: Chicago Street Course
  • Qualifying date: Saturday, July 6
  • Qualifying start time: 1:30 p.m. ET
  • Qualifying TV channel: USA | Fubo

Qualifying for Sunday's Cup Series race in Chicago takes place Saturday starting at 1:30 p.m. ET, right after an hour-long practice session. Both practice and qualifying Saturday will broadcast live on USA.

Cup Series practice and qualifying will also be shown live on Fubo, which offers a free trial.
