What channel is the NASCAR race on today? What time does the NASCAR race start? These are the questions that plague race fans every Sunday, when each NASCAR Cup Series race will be on either Fox or FS1 for the first half of the 2020 season with differing start times.

LIVE: Lap-by-lap updates & highlights from the Daytona 500

As for Monday's Cup Series season-opening Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway, which was postponed from Sunday due to rain, the channel that will broadcast the race is Fox, and the race has a start time set for 4 p.m. ET.

As for the TV channel, the Daytona 500 is on Fox for the 14th consecutive year. It marks Fox's first broadcast with its new, two-man booth setup with only Mike Joy and Jeff Gordon on the call.

Monday's rain-delayed Daytona 500 will still consist of three stages: 65 laps, 65 laps and 70 laps. Daytona International Speedway is a 2.5-mile oval that features 31-degree banking in the turns, three-degree banking on the backstretch and 18-degree banking in the trioval. Denny Hamlin won last year's Daytona 500.

Below is all the info you need regarding how to watch Monday's Daytona 500.

  • Radio: MRN, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio

On the call of the 2020 Daytona 500 will be Mike Joy and Jeff Gordon, marking the first race the duo has worked together since longtime Fox NASCAR analyst Darrell Waltrip retired. Joy will call his 41st Daytona 500, and Gordon will call his fifth.

"In a two-man booth, you’re much more focused on the call of the race and not looking for other storylines," Joy told Sporting News when asked about the pros and cons of Fox's new broadcast setup.

Fox also will lean on additional analysis from Jamie McMurray. The recently retired driver will be joined by Larry McReynolds, the longtime Fox broadcaster who again will deliver information on race trends and team strategy, basically the crew chief of the broadcast.

The veteran reporting team of Matt Yocum, Jamie Little, Vince Welch and Regan Smith will provide stories and updates from pit road for the Daytona 500. Chris Myers and Adam Alexander will anchor Fox's prerace coverage.
