Leon Edwards and Belal Muhammad have a score to settle when they face off at UFC 304. This time, it is for Edwards’ UFC welterweight title.
In the first fight in 2021, which ended in a no-contest following an eye poke to Muhammad, Edwards landed 19 significant strikes compared to Muhammad's eight. Since then, Edwards has landed 309 significant strikes in four contests.
With a takedown defense of 70%, Edwards believes he can halt the momentum of Muhammad, who averages 1.98 takedowns landed per 15 minutes.
"I feel like I stop him in the third [round]. I truly believe that I am just skill-for-skill better than him. I've had a little feel of him, in the first fight, so going into the second fight, I'm more confident. I know how he felt in within the clinch, within his punches and everything. I'm excited for it.,” Edwards said to talkSPORT via Sportskeeda.

Muhammad has won five straight following that fight, landing 12 takedowns. In a short-notice fight against Gilbert Burns a year ago, “Remember the Name” landed 132 significant strikes. The top-ranked welterweight looks to win gold after years as a top contender.
