Tony Ferguson wants a chance to face Conor McGregor and used Twitter to bait the Irishman into a fight.

Ferguson, who is the top-ranked UFC lightweight contender, said McGregor was "a replica of a former self," indicating McGregor doesn't have what it takes to be a top MMA fighter anymore.

McGregor responded, but surprisingly was genteel about the jab, saying, "I wish you well and am praying for you as a fellow colleague."

In response to McGregor referring to himself as "Burger King," Ferguson said he was more like a "Dairy Queen." (Warning: tweet below has NSFW language.)

McGregor is suspended until April 6 for his role in the UFC 229 melee in which he was involved in a post-fight altercation with Khabib Nurmagomedov.

While Ferguson (24-3) has won 11 matches in a row, he has never fought McGregor before. McGregor has only fought once since 2016, which was the loss to Nurmagomedov in October.
