Two exciting lightweights battle it out in the main event of Combate Americas: Mexico vs. Spain, as Alvaro Herrera takes on Ignacio Capella from the Arena Coliseo in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico on Friday, March 8, live on DAZN.

Herrera (9-6), fighting in his own backyard, is in desperate need of a win. The 28-year-old stormed into the UFC with a 30-second knockout win of Vernon Ramos in November 2015. Everything came off the rails after that, as Herrera lost his next three fights and then was cut from the organization.

Capella (5-1), a native of San Luis, Menorca, Spain, comes in on a tear. After losing his professional debut, Capella has won five consecutive fights with all of them coming by stoppage.
