Don't look now, but here come the Seattle Sounders.
After their slow start to the season the Sounders are now firmly back in position to fight for the playoffs following their sixth win in a row and their seventh win in eight with a 5-0 result against the LA Galaxy, who were playing without all three of their designated players and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Chad Marshall opened the scoring with a powerful header just three minutes in, with Harry Shipp adding a second in the 18th minute.

The second half would prove even worse for the Galaxy, with Servando Carrasco's own goal putting the Sounders up three goals in the 50th before Cristian Roldan made it 4-0 just before the hour mark.
Raul Ruidiaz scored the fifth on 67 minutes to make sure of the result.
The win leaves the Sounders seventh in the Western Conference, two point back of the slumping Timbers and Galaxy as they chase the post season.
Seattle's rivals in Portland took a third loss on the trot and a second straight blowout with a 3-0 loss to Sporting Kansas City.
A double from Diego Rubio pushed the home side to a two-goal lead in the first half, with Johnny Russell's second-half strike sealing the result for Sporting.
The Timbers, who dropped a 4-1 result to D.C. United last week, now must try to rebound against Seattle next week.
The Philadelphia Union made it back-to-back wins over Eastern Conference rivals with a 2-0 result against New York City FC, Cory Burke and Ilsinho netting after the break to doom the visitors to their second loss in four matches.
Daniel Royer scored early and late to help the New York Red Bulls work out a 2-2 draw against the Vancouver Whitecaps. Kendall Waston pulled the Whitecaps level before the break after Royer's fifth-minute opener, and Costa Rican has his side out in front just after the hour mark. But Royer's goal in the last minute of regular time ensured that the spoils were split.
A scrappy goal from Chris Wondolowski made sure of a point for the San Jose Earthquakes as they took a 1-1 draw against Toronto FC.
It was the 141st MLS goal of the forward's career, leaving him just four shy of Landon Donovan's all-time record.

Montreal used a late goal form Daniel Lovitz to take a 2-1 win over the Chicago Fire. Ignacio Piatti's penalty put the Impact out in front but they were pegged back by Nemanja Nikolic, only to see Lovitz smash home from the top of the box following a corner to steal all three points.
Albert Rusnak's screamer three minutes into stoppage time was followed by a penalty from the same man seven minutes later as Real Salt Lake completed an improbable comeback win over the Houston Dynamo.
Houston took the lead through Oscar Boniek García in the first half, but the stunning late show from RSL severely dented the home side's playoff chances, with the Dynamo stuck on 27 points, 10 points back of sixth-placed Portland.

A lengthy weather delay slowed the start of play in Dallas, where the home side would eventually take a 2-0 win over Minnesota United, though it wouldn't be without some controversy once the action started.
The match would face another long delay as match officials checked Maynor Figueroa's opener for Dallas, eventually ruling that he was not offside and the home side took a 1-0 lead into the break.
A curled effort from Michael Barrios made sure of the result and kept Dallas atop the Western Conference standings.
