The Montreal Impact edged the Houston Dynamo 1-0, Real Salt Lake accounted for the Seattle Sounders 2-0, the Chicago Fire defeated the San Jose Earthquakes 2-1 and the New England Revolution trumped the New York Red Bulls by the same scoreline.
