Raheem Edwards has been traded to the Chicago Fire from the Montreal Impact in exchange for $400,000 in targeted allocation money.
The 23-year-old was sent to Montreal after being selected by Los Angeles FC in the expansion draft and appeared in 14 matches for the Canadian club this season.
He now moves to the Fire for the remainder of the 2018 season, with the club holding options to keep him on for the 2019 and 2020 seasons.

Edwards first came up with Toronto FC and played a part in the club's historic 2017 MLS Cup winning season.
Generally used either as a winger or a wing back, Edwards has also broken in with the Canadian national team and was a part of his country's 2017 Gold Cup squad.
The Fire currently sit four points back of the sixth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
