Sporting News writer Ryan Fagan is traveling through Florida and Arizona the next few weeks, stopping at spring training games and talking with as many players as possible. One of his side projects is a quick-hitter Q/A we’re calling “Two minutes with …”

Up first: Yankees outfielder Clint Frazier

MORE: Yankees sign Aaron Hicks to seven-year extension

What’s your first baseball memory as a kid?
Frazier:
I would say my mom and me in the front yard. My dad would be at work, and my mom would throw me a little ball, and I’m swinging a little yellow Playmate bat in the front yard. Definitely that. I’m sure she threw a few curveballs without meaning to, but I hope mostly she just threw fastballs.

What’s the last show you binge-watched?
Frazier:
Oh, I’ve been watching "The Office" for like the last seven months straight, dude. I’ve gone through it and started over, then gone through it again. I’m watching "Game of Thrones" again now, before the last season comes out.

Any superstitions?
Frazier:
 Nah. I’m not superstitious.
(Editor’s note: He missed the chance for an amazing "The Office" reference. Disappointed.)

What’s your favorite free-time activity?
Frazier:
Playing "Fortnite" with this guy (Tyler Wade). I’ve been playing Xbox. I’m not a big gamer, but it's just a chance to catch up with the guys back home. It’s a good way for me to communicate with people that I might not text every day. I get to talk with a lot of high school friends that maybe I wouldn’t catch up with normally.

What’s the one talent you’d most like to have?
Frazier:
I wish I could sing, dude. I love music, so to see those guys perform is cool. I went to a lot of concerts in the offseason. Travis Scott was definitely my favorite one. That was definitely the most electrifying atmosphere I’ve been in besides the playoffs.

What was your first job?
Frazier:
This! I never had one in high school.

If you were MLB commissioner for a day, what’s one thing you would do?
Frazier:
I would let you wear whatever you want to wear out there. Kind of like the NBA’s freed up the shoe policy, just something like that. When you let guys go out there and show their personality, they might play a little bit better.
