The Yankees and Braves clash in a star-studded matchup this Friday from Yankee Stadium.

The Yankees own the best record in all of baseball, and they are only growing stronger: On Wednesday, Gerrit Cole made his long-awaited season debut after suffering an elbow injury in spring training. The right-handed ace struck out five Oriole hitters, while touching 97 mph on his fastball.

Juan Soto (1.023 OPS) and Aaron Judge (1.115 OPS) are the game's most-formidable one-two punch, anchoring a strong New York lineup.

The Braves are still searching for their stride after early season injuries to MVP Ronald Acuna Jr. and ace Spencer Strider. Slowly, though, Atlanta is looking more like its dominant self, entering Friday with six wins in its last seven games.

Marcell Ozuna (.316 AVG, 20 HR, 63 RBI) has been a revelation in the middle of a slumping lineup. And on Friday, Atlanta will send its ace to the mound. Chris Sale, quite familiar with the Yankees from his time with the Red Sox, will bring his 2.98 ERA to the Bronx mound.
