Will the Rangers ever lose on the road in these playoffs? That is a question that may or may not be answered in Game 4 at Chase Field in Phoenix.
WORLD SERIES LIVE: Follow Rangers vs. Diamondbacks updates from Game 4
Texas extended its playoff road win streak to nine games on Monday after coming away with a 3-1 win over the Diamondbacks in Game 3. Marcus Semien delivered an RBI single with two outs in the third inning, then Corey Seager crushed a two-run home run to give the Rangers a lead they wouldn't surrender.
Jon Gray picked up the win, throwing three scoreless innings in relief after Max Scherzer left the game prior to the bottom of the fourth with lower back soreness. Adolis Garcia also left the game with an oblique injury and his status will be worth monitoring going into Game 4 on Tuesday.
The Rangers will start LHP Andrew Heaney in Game 4. He has made two starts and two appearances in relief this postseason, collecting five strikeouts with a 5.00 ERA over nine innings.
The Diamondbacks will use a bullpen game, starting with LHP Joe Mantiply on the bump. Mantiply has made eight appearances for Arizona this postseason, owning a 2-0 record with a 4.26 ERA over 6.1 innings pitched.
