The White Sox are representing the South Side well with their 2021 Nike City Connection jersey.

Chicago dropped its newest uniform on Friday afternoon and, needless to say, the outfit is sharp.

To go along with the jersey, the White Sox themselves released a video revealing the uniforms and explained the concept they were going for with the design.

"This look has a legacy that reached beyond this city," the narration says. "The black and white is iconic — a game changer. But now, it’s time for the remix."

Indeed, this is the remix of a classic look, and it's being well-received by the White Sox fans. Of course, some also got a kick out of what Tony La Russa might think of the team's newest jersey, and joked about it on Twitter.

MLB and Nike have released three City Connect jerseys so far — the Red Sox, Marlins and White Sox — with more to come. Each has been a success so far, but Chicago's definitely hold the early advantage for the best alternate uniform.
