When will Shohei Ohtani pitch next? Date, lineup, stats image

After suffering a blister on the middle finger of his pitching hand against the Red Sox, Shohei Ohtani came back with a bit of vengance on the mound Tuesday against the Astros.

His pitches hit triple-digits on the radar multiple times for the first time this year, which gives off the implication that he's getting stronger as the season moves forward.

While he ultimately was unable to get the win, it was still an impressive outing for the Japanese international who is only showing signs of getting better as the season wears on. It doesn't look like he'll be the first MLB player to hit three homers and earn three wins in the month of April — because his schedule indicates he won't pitch until the Orioles series in early May — but his first month in the majors was still impressive nonetheless.

When will Ohtani's next start be? Based on his early once-a-week schedule, that should be May 2 vs. the Orioles in Anaheim.
