Troy Tulowitzki is clearly happy to be back on a baseball field.

The Blue Jays shortstop, who missed nearly 100 games last season due to injury, posed as a pitcher during the team's photo day Thursday at Toronto's spring training complex in Dunedin, FL.

Tulowitzki performed numerous pitching motions for the photographers, much to the amusement of his teammates.

Blue Jays starting pitcher Marcus Stroman, who led the team with 13 wins and a 3.09 ERA last season, took to Twitter to claim credit for Tulowitzki's form.

Tulowitzki has taken things slow so far this spring because of his lingering ankle injury and remains a question mark for opening day .

The 33-year-old hit .249 with seven home runs and 26 RBI last season.
