It's important to write about different types of stories, but in the case of Vladimir Guerrero Jr., repetitiveness just comes with the territory.

The Blue Jays top prospect is still stewing in Double-A ball with the New Hampshire Fisher Cats where it seems like he's pretty much outgrown the pitching the league has to offer.

The latest example? Another three-hit game for the second-generation rising star on Friday in four at-bats, with another home run, his 10th of the season.

Guerrero Jr.'s latest feat of strength actually came right after fellow Blue Jays prospect Bo Bichette also went deep. Like, literally right after; the two hitters connected on consecutive pitches to go back-to-back, part of a big offensive night for the two Toronto hopefuls.

It's becoming a regular occurance for Guerrero Jr., who seems in line to at the very least get promoted to Triple-A Buffalo in the immediate future.

This, from MLB.com, on the recent tear he's been on at the plate:

Guerrero has hits in 13 of his past 14 games and has reached base in 33 straight contests, the longest streak in the Eastern League this year. The youngest player in all of Double-A, Guerrero has strung together four straight multihit performances and is hitting .553 (21-for-38) over his past 10 games.

Also noteworthy? Since May 14, Guerrero Jr. has hit four home runs in 12 games, with 12 RBIs, five and doubles while going 25-for-47 from the plate, or a .532 batting average.

Can't forget about Bichette, though. After a slower start to his season, Bichette has begun to rediscover his swing. It was the second straight game he hit a home run (he and Guerrero Jr. also went back-to-back on Thursday) and went 3-for-4 in all with 6 RBIs in New Hampshire's big win on Friday.
