The Toronto Blue Jays begin their 42nd season on March 29; but before Opening Day arrives, the team will prepare for the new campaign under manager John Gibbons with nearly six weeks of spring training in sunny Florida.

As is usual, pitchers and catchers are due to report to Dunedin, Fla. prior to position players, with the first Grapefruit League games set to take place at the end of February.

The Jays conduct their spring training in Dunedin, FL, which is s short drive from Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater and Sarasota. The facility consists of multiple fields for players on both the 40-man roster and minor league rosters.

When do pitchers and catchers report to spring training?

The first workout for pitchers and catchers is scheduled for Feb. 14.

When do position players report to spring training?

The full team will have its first workout on Feb. 19.
