Cody Bellinger of the Dodgers and Christian Yelich of the Brewers were the top vote-getters, while the Braves were the only team represented more than once in the selection of the 2019 Sporting News National League All-Stars, as chosen by a panel of NL executives.

Voting for the honors took place in September and early October, and the results display a strong mix of teams, with nine squads represented. Bellinger and Yelich paced the way with 16 votes each, while a total of 27 players received at least one vote. The biggest surprise: Ketel Marte of the Diamondbacks got the nod easily at second base, despite playing there in just 83 games.

Sporting News named its first MLB All-Star team in 1925.
