Sporting News' 2018 National League All-Stars: Freddie Freeman earns nod, three Brewers picked image

J.T. Realmuto earned the honor of top vote-getter in the 2018 Sporting News All-Star voting, leading all players in the NL and AL with 16 votes in a survery of MLB executives. 

Meanwhile, Milwaukee is well represented, with Christian Yelich, Lorenzo Cain and Josh Hader all having strong showings. 

Freddie Freeman earns a nod at first base amid some tough competition, beating out Matt Carpenter, Paul Goldschmidt and Jesús Aguilar at the position. 

Jacob deGrom took home the starting pitching honors with 13 votes, with Aaron Nola receiving three votes. 

Sporting News named its first MLB All-Star team in 1925.
