The Diamondbacks have acquired right-hander Mike Leake from the Mariners, according to MLB Network.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The 31-year-old Leake is 9-8 with a 4.40 ERA this season in 22 starts. Earlier Wednesday, the Diamondbacks announced they had acquired right-hander Zac Gallen from the Marlins for infielder Jazz Chisholm. The addition of Leake and Gallen give the Diamondbacks a couple of starters to help fill the void left by the reported trade of Zack Greinke to the Astros just before the deadline.
Arizona will receive prospects Corbin Martin, J.B. Bukauskas, Seth Beer and Josh Rojas in the Greinke trade, according to ESPN.
