MLB's best are putting the "star" in starters on Tuesday night.

After being away from the spotlight in 2020, MLB's best (and most popular) are once again taking the field in the 2021 All-Star Game on July 13 in Denver.

As is custom with the All-Star Game roster, there are some swings and misses: Mike Trout makes the All-Star Game this year despite playing in just 36 games in the first half and is nursing a calf injury. Trout is expected to return to the field after the All-Star break. Still, fans voted in Trout as a starter for the AL this Midsummer Classic.

Jack Leiter lands with Rangers; 7 high schoolers projected for first 10 picks

This is also a good year for first-timers: Nats outfielder Juan Soto makes his (somewhat surprising) All-Star debut, despite being one of the game's preeminent hitters since his rookie year in 2018. Also making the All-Star squad for the first time is Blue Jays infielder Vladimir Guerrero Jr — Vladito isn't just putting together an All-Star season, he's also putting together an MVP-type resume.

Here's who will be lining up and taking the field as the game's best on Tuesday:
