The White Sox announced Monday that an MRI revealed the pitcher has a strained lat and will miss the remainder of the season.
There are no "long-term concerns" with the injury, the team said in a press release.

Lucas ends his tremendous 2019 season as an All-Star with 14 wins, 228 strikeouts, three complete games, two shutouts and a 3.41 ERA.
Chicago is far from the playoff picture at 65-85 and sits in third in the American League Central. But Giolito has had a great season.
The 25-year-old made his first All-Star team in 2019 and recorded a 14-9 record with a 3.41 ERA.
