Josh Hader's tweet apology not accepted in San Francisco; fans boo Brewers reliever image

The reception for Brewers reliever Josh Hader in San Francisco on Thursday was many degrees colder than the warmth he felt in Milwaukee after his racist, anti-gay and misogynistic teenage tweets were circulated during this month's MLB All-Star Game.

Hader heard a chorus of boos from Giants fans as he entered Milwaukee's game at AT&T Park, his first mound assignment on the road since he apologized for posting the tweets in 2011 and 2012.

KNBR.com producer Sam Hustis captured the moment on video:

Hader received standing ovations from Brewers fans at Miller Park on Saturday when he came in to face the Dodgers. Outside observers largely criticized the fans' actions.

Hader has said the old tweets don't represent his current thinking. MLB did not suspend him for the postings, but it did order him to undergo sensitivity training.
