Johnny Damon: Former ballplayer and self-proclaimed idiot.

The former MLB All-Star who spent time with the Red Sox and Yankees during his 18-year MLB career, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence on Feb. 19 in Florida.

Damon's wife, Michelle Mangan-Damon, also was charged with battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest with violence.

Video of Damon's arrest video surfaced on March 10, with Damon saying his political affiliation was a reason that he was being arrested by police.

Damon, clearly impaired, was urging his wife to "walk home" while cops were slapping the cuffs on him, and finishes the video by saying "Blue Lives Matter," a popular phrase among those who celebrate law enforcement.

"Hey bro, I'm a good f—ing guy, and I know people are trying to target me because I'm a Trump supporter," Damon says.

Per body cam footage, the officer says that Damon's car was swerving all over the road and hitting a curb. Both Damon and his wife didn't seem overly cooperative with police.

Per TMZ, Damon's blood alcohol content was .30, nearly four times the legal limit in the state of Florida (.08).

TMZ also reports that Damon pleaded not guilty to the charge and is scheduled for a May court day.
