Sit back, relax, and get ready to walk some baseballs get launched into orbit. 

The 2023 Home Run Derby is set for tonight, as eight of the league's best sluggers get ready to battle it out for the right to be crowned the Home Run Derby champion. 

While the MLB leader in home runs, Shohei Ohtani, will not be participating in the event, it is not lacking star power. Two-time derby champ Pete Alonso is back and looking for a third title, while recent derby breakout stars Julio Rodriguez and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. have their eyes on winning their first. 

Other participants include Luis Robert, Adolis Garcia, Randy Arozarena, Mookie Betts and Adley Rutschman.

Eight players are participating in the 2023 Home Run Derby, and Alonso is leading the pack in odds. The two-time Derby winner has 26 home runs entering the All-Star break, tied with Robert and Betts for third-most in the league. He enters with +302 odds of winning.

After Alonso, it's Guerrero Jr. and Robert and Guerrero with the next-best odds. The Blue Jays slugger is at +348 while the White Sox outfielder is at +456.

Longest home run odds

  • O/U: 490.5 ft

One of the options to bet is on how far the longest home run at the 2023 Home Run Derby will be, and who will hit it.

The over-under is set at 490.5 feet. In 2022, the furthest a ball was hit was 482 feet, done by the winner, Juan Soto. However, in 2021, there was a plethora of balls hit further than 500 feet, thanks to the event being held at higher elevation at Coors Field.

Guerrero Jr. is set as the favorite to launch the furthest ball at T-Mobile Park, coming in at +191.
