Ex-Jeopardy champion Ken Jennings takes shots at Blue Jays fans after loss to Mariners image

Ex-Jeopardy champ Ken Jennings isn't too fond of Blue Jays fans or Canadians, and he let that be known after Toronto fell to Seattle 7-4 on Friday.

Jennings, a resident of Seattle, a Mariners fan and owner of Jeopardy's longest winning streak (74 games), took aim at Blue Jays fans via Twitter early Saturday to gloat after his team's victory.

He said his favorite part of the summer is watching Canadian baseball fans venture to Washington only to watch their team lose.

Blue Jays fans didn't take kindly to that remark and some Canadians responded to Jennings' comments, which only fueled the fire and led to Jennings calling them sh—faced transplants.

The second installment of the three-game series between the Blue Jays and Mariners will be Saturday at 9:10 p.m. ET.

While both sides are far from the playoff hunt, that doesn't mean Jennings shouldn't be ready for Round 2 following Saturday's action. It'll definitely be something to look out for.
