LSU seems to always be ready for its ring before the final moments of a championship have passed. Just ask Angel Reese and Dylan Crews.
And to be fair, when you're en route to winning by a comfortable margin, it's fair to start the party a bit early.
The LSU baseball team slugged its way to a commanding 18-4 win against Florida in the 2023 College World Series, earning the program's seventh title in dominating fashion. And twice during the final two innings, Tiger batters busted out the Angel Reese "ring me" celebration, pointing to their fingers to show where they wanted their new piece of jewelry.

First, it was Crews, LSU's star outfielder who tripled to leadoff the top of the eighth inning. He'd come around to score LSU's 12th run.

Then, it was first baseman Tre' Morgan, who drove in the team's 16th run with an RBI double in the top of the ninth.

Pointing at the ring finger has seemingly been an LSU tradition for a few years now. Former LSU quarterback Joe Burrow began his celebration a few minutes early as the Tigers romped their way to a 42-25 defeat of Clemson to win the national championship.

But it was Reese who brought it back in the spotlight in 2023.
LSU's star forward powered the Tigers to a national championship against Iowa and drew plenty of attention for her celebration during LSU's run to a women's basketball title, pointing to her finger following a taunt of Iowa standout Caitlin Clark.
The Tigers went on to win 102-85 in the national championship.

On Monday, it was Crews' and the Tigers' turn to hit the ring-finger celebration. Reese was quick to show her support of her classmates' achievements as the Tigers added one more ring to their trophy room in 2023.
