The Dodgers may have called up another future ace.
Los Angeles will bring up righty Dustin May from Triple-A Oklahoma City to start Friday at home, according to ESPN.
May is the Dodgers' top pitching prospect and ranks No. 35 in all of baseball, according to MLB Pipeline.

May, 21, is 6-5 with a 3.37 ERA across Double- and Triple-A this season. He features a fastball that can run up to 97 mph and two more pitches that grade out as above-average to plus.
The Dodgers added lefty reliever Adam Kolarek at the deadline as well as utilityman Jedd Gyorko in a trade with the Cardinals.
They were not able to land their top target in Felipe Vazquez from the Pirates but the addition of May gives them an interesting option.
For one, the team can see if May is good enough to hold down a rotation spot alongside Walker Buehler, Clayton Kershaw and Hyun-Jin Ryu and then, maybe, bump Kenta Maeda to the bullpen.
Or, they could also intentionally limit his innings toward the end of the year and pitch him out of the pen, giving them another late-inning option down the line.
Either way, Dodgers fans will have a chance to see another good pitcher in the pipeline.
