Cubs' bullpen dancers inspire groovy music video image

Cubs relief pitchers have gone nationwide with their in-game, in-bullpen dance celebrations. The team's social squad decided to celebrate the phenomenon, and it kicked it old school, to boot.

With some nifty funk backing them, the boys (well, silhouettes of them, anyway) were transported back to the '70s. Feel the groove.

The Cubs' production was a lot hipper than the team's manager, Joe Maddon, dropping references to '70s NBA stars Nate "Tiny" Archibald and Norm Van Lier this weekend to describe second baseman Javy Baez's play. (Yes, that is an actual thing Maddon said, per the Sun-Times.)
