The Bo show might be over, at least for 2019.

After Bo Bichette took a pitch to the brim of his batting helmet in the sixth inning of the Blue Jays' victory over the Baltimore Orioles on Sept. 19, the 21-year-old shortstop was removed from the game for showing signs of a concussion.

Immediately after dropping to the ground, Bichette jumped up and started making his way to first before being stopped to speak with a trainer and manager Charlie Montoyo.

MLB.com reporter Scott Mitchell wrote on Monday that Bichette is still going through concussion protocol and that Montoyo reported "he may have played his final game in 2019."

In his MLB debut, the same day he was brought up from Triple-A Buffalo on July 29, he recorded a hit and jumpstarted what would be a spectacular first season in the big leagues, even for a shortened one. His career-starting hit streak would end at 11 games, the most in Blue Jays history.

Among the records set by Bichette are the youngest-ever Blue Jay to hit a walk-off home run, the most extra-base hits by a Blue Jay in their first 15 games with 15and the most hits by a Blue Jay in their first 30 games with 45.
