Over the last two seasons, the Blue Jays home run jacket has been an iconic token in their rise to playoff contender.
First introduced to the team by interpreter Hector "Tito" Lebron in 2021, the jacket has become a tradition for dinger hitters in the Toronto dugout.
However, Blue Jays fans have seen the last of the jacket. With Toronto completing their first two series of the season, we've seen home runs from the team, but no jacket.

Where is the Blue Jays home run jacket?
The team announced that they would be going away from the home run jacket, putting an end to its two-season run with the organization.
A change in the locker room mindset is the reason why the home run jacket is no longer a part of the Blue Jays dugout celebrations.
Manager John Schneider discussed the mentality shift in the team, stating that the clubhouse is going to shift away from going crazy for home runs and focus that energy on winning the game.
"It’s time to go from a talented, fun team to a talented, fun team that’s going to scrap and claw and find ways to win games," Schneider said. "It’s a fine line between silly and fun. There’s something to be said about acting like you’ve been there."
Schneider was not directly talking about the home run jacket, but it was a part of the fun-loving shenanigans that went on in the dugout during games the last two years for Toronto.
While the mood may be more serious in the Blue Jays dugout, Schneider reiterated that the team is still going to have fun, just that hopefully that enjoyment stems from success.
"I love having fun," Schneider said. "You’ve got to have fun. It’s a long season and it’s a game. As long as you’re prepared and attentive, then winning becomes fun. The most fun to have in baseball is winning."
While the home run jacket may no longer be a part of the festivities in Toronto, it may find its way to a different clubhouse.
The Pirates have reportedly reached out to the Blue Jays in regards to the home run jacket. Pittsburgh may be looking to take over the concept and make it its own for 2023.
