The Blue Jays are slated for their first appearance on Apple TV+ this season when they battle the Nationals on Friday night.

Toronto will look to snap out of its funk, a poor stretch marked by eight losses in its last 11 games. The offense has fallen flat, amid poor performances from Vladmir Guerrero Jr. (.683 OPS), George Springer (.617 OPS), and Bo Bichette (.557 OPS).

The stalwart pitching staff, too, has shown cracks. Chris Bassitt has a 5.45 ERA, while Kevin Gausman (4.50 ERA) is still trying to find his rhythm after an injury hampered his Spring Training. Southpaw Yusei Kikuchi (2.94 ERA) gets the ball on Friday night.

The Jays took two of three games from the Nationals last season.
