Through 25 spring training games, the Blue Jays hold a 13-11-1 record.
The Blue Jays have four out of their last five games in spring training. There are only eight games remaining on their schedule.
Toronto is aiming to improve on its 2022 season. The Blue Jays made the postseason as the first Wild-Card team, finishing second in the AL East with a record of 92-70. It marked the first time the club reached 90 wins in back-to-back seasons since the early '90s.
However, the Blue Jays failed to win a postseason game, as the Mariners swept the team in two games in the Wild-Card round of the 2022 playoffs. It was a disappointing ending for a team that entered the season with World Series aspirations.

Toronto Blue Jays Roster
What is the Blue Jays projected starting rotation?
The lone loss from the 2022 rotation was Ross Stripling, who began the year in the bullpen and worked his way to a starting role when injuries opened a spot. In his place is veteran right-hander Chris Bassitt, who signed a three-year deal this offseason.
Bassitt gives the Blue Jays a strong No. 3 option behind aces Alek Manoah and Kevin Gausman. Jose Berrios and Yusei Kikuchi are going to round out the rotation.
Hyun-Jin Ryu is expected to start the season on the injured list. He is coming off left elbow surgery from last summer.
Here is a look at the projected Opening Day rotation for the Blue Jays.

What is the Blue Jays projected starting lineup?
There are going to be a few new names in the lineup for the Blues to start the 2023 season.
Toronto made two big trades this offseason. First, the Blue Jays traded away outfielder Teoscar Hernandez to the Mariners to add help in the bullpen, bringing in reliever Erik Swanson and pitching prospect Adam Macko.
Then, Toronto acquired outfielder/catcher Daulton Varsho from the Diamondbacks. The deal sent outfielder Lourdies Gurriel Jr. and catching prospect Gabriel Moreno back to Arizona. While it cost a large amount, Varsho is expected to be an everyday player that can hit in the middle of the lineup.
The team also signed veterans Kevin Kiermaier and Brandon Belt. Kiermaier should help defensively in the outfield while Belt can be a left-handed option to use at DH.
Here is a look at the projected Opening Day lineup for the Blue Jays.
