Best MLB Playoffs prop bets: Clayton Kershaw, Matt Olson highlight top parlay picks for Saturday's NL divisional round games image

The elite eight of the 2023 MLB season has been set, and Saturday will mark Game 1 of each of the four divisional round matchups. Fans of matinee baseball will enjoy the Orioles vs. Rangers and Astros vs. Twins, but those who prefer baseball after dark will be looking forward to Braves vs. Phillies and Dodgers vs. Diamondbacks. We will highlight the evening slate in particular today as we select our four favorite SuperDraft player props from these two exciting NL matchups.

It took 4,860 regular-season contests and eight Wild Card games to get here, but the stage is finally set. Nothing that happened between March 30 and October 6 matters at this point — each of the final eight teams has a chance to win 12 games to be declared World Series champions. Who doesn't love October baseball? We know we do, and that's why we'll be entering multiple player prop parlay on SuperDraft for Game 1 of the NLDS series.

We've been telling you all year: SuperDraft is the best prop betting experience in sports. Just sign up, go to SuperDraft's Fantasy Props feature, select two or more over/under player prop bets, and you've got a chance to make some cash. No juice or vig, no bloated projections — you simply can't beat the value SD offers in its prop market.

SuperDraft users can win 3X the amount wagered if their two-legged player prop parlay hits. Add a third leg and the potential payout bumps up to 6X. Go 4-for-4 and you're talking about a 10x jackpot. With each prop added, the potential prize gets larger. Of course, your odds of winning also get longer, so don't expect much out of an eight-leg parlay (as much as we would all love the 100x bonus, it's about as likely as a lottery ticket hitting).

Below, we'll break down four of our favorite player props on SuperDraft for the final two games of Saturday's divisional-round slate. Users don't necessarily have to parlay all four picks together, though. Instead, you could make separate two-legged parlays to increase your win probability or attempt to hit it big if all four picks come through.

Best MLB divisional round props: SuperDraft player prop picks for Saturday night NL games

*10x potential payout if users parlay all four correct picks

1. Clayton Kershaw, SP, Dodgers vs. D-backs — OVER 4 strikeouts

Dave Roberts surprised nobody when he announced that Kershaw would be taking the mound for Game 1 of the Dodgers' divisional round series against the D-backs. The veteran ace finished the season with a sparkling 2.41 ERA and 1.06 WHIP this season, despite a length midsummer absence due to injury. The 35-year-old hasn't always been perfect in the postseason, but we expect big things from him this fall. That starts on Saturday, when he faces an Arizona squad that put up a .730 OPS during the regular season. That's the lowest team OPS of the eight remaining clubs in the playoffs. Bet on Hall-of-Fame Clay to keep the Desert Snakes at bay.

2. Austin Riley, 3B, Braves vs. Phillies — OVER 1.5 hits + runs + RBIs

Riley continues to serve as one of the best all-around third basemen in the game, and he will have a big chance to make an immediate impact in this massive series against Philadelphia. Across 20 career plate appearances against Phillies starter Ranger Suarez, Riley has slashed .375/.500/.688. He's only struck out twice against Suarez, which pales in comparison to his six hits, four walks, two doubles, and one home run. Riley will be doing big things under the bright lights on Saturday evening.

3. Matt Olson, 1B, Braves vs. Phillies — UNDER 0.5 singles

This is a bit of a risky play, but we're banking on Olson to swing for the fences and not singles on Saturday night so we'll take the chance. In 18 career plate appearances against Suarez, the slugging first baseman has two singles, two doubles, and three walks. That's not enough success for us to take his OVER of 6.5 fantasy points, but we don't dare take the UNDER on his 1.5 hits + runs + RBIs prop. Aiming for no singles from the Braves' best power hitter seems like the way to go.

4. Max Muncy, 3B, Dodgers vs. D-backs — OVER 6 fantasy hitting

Muncy draws a lot of ire for his high strikeout rate and low batting average, but the dude still mashes and makes a tremendous impact for Los Angeles. He's also batting .412 with a homer, four doubles, and six walks against Merrill Kelly in his career, so we'll take the burly third baseman to net us seven fantasy points and seal the deal on a sweet four-legger. Good luck and have fun, SuperDrafters!
