Best MLB prop bets today: Ronald Acuna Jr. highlights top picks for Braves-Phillies, Dodgers-Diamondbacks image

The MLB playoffs are in full swing, and Monday's NLDS doubleheader sees both the Braves and Dodgers in "must-win" territory. While that doesn't mean the home squads will emerge victorious, when it comes to betting player props on SuperDraft, the game's outcome isn't the sole determinant of our victory or defeat. It certainly factors into the equation, but focusing on players instead of teams can make enduring all nine innings of high-intensity baseball a bit more manageable.

SuperDraft users can win 3X the amount wagered if their two-legged player prop parlay hits. Consequently, the more legs you add to your player prop parlay, the larger your potential payout becomes, but as the long odds indicate, completing a clean sweep is challenging. If you were to put down a $20 entry fee and all four of our props below hit, you'd get a $200 payout.

Below, we'll break down four of our favorite player props on SuperDraft for Monday's NLDS doubleheader. Users don't necessarily have to parlay all four picks together, though. Instead, you could make separate two-legged parlays to increase your win probability or attempt to hit it big if all four picks come through.

*10x potential payout if users parlay all four correct picks

1. Ronald Acuna Jr., RF, Braves - OVER 1.5 bases

The soon-to-be NL MVP has seen Zach Wheeler well, recording 12 hits in 46 at-bats with a .900 OPS (four home runs, four doubles) against him. Wheeler's reliance on his sinker could lend itself to a barrel from Atlanta's table setter, resulting in Acuna going OVER 1.5 bases.

We'll see how many heaters Wheeler throws to Acuna, as he's hitting .340 against fastballs this season. We still like our chances on the NL's best player to go OVER this number.

2. Zac Gallen, SP, Diamondbacks - UNDER 4.5 strikeouts

While Gallen's OVER 4.5 strikeout total looks appealing, especially with Gallen totaling at least five Ks in four of his past five starts, we're fading the Diamondbacks ace against an uber-disciplined Dodgers offense. Los Angeles ended the regular season with the fifth-lowest chase rate (26 percent), routinely displacing a keen sense of the strike zone.

They've seen Gallen enough not to bite on his curveballs out of the zone, Gallen's go-to putaway pitch and location. Even if Gallen works deep into tonight's game, we think the Dodgers make enough contact to hold Gallen UNDER 4.5 strikeouts.

3. Will Smith, C, Dodgers - OVER 0.5 singles

Albeit a small sample, Smith's batting .375 off Gallen in his career (six-of-16). In a game in which we think the Dodgers will even up this best-of-five, we like L.A.'s three-hitter to have success at the plate. Smith is always going to put forth a quality at-bat, sitting in the 86th percentile in strikeout rate (16.1 percent) and the 74th percentile in chase rate (25 percent).

4. Bryson Stott, 2B, Phillies - UNDER 0.5 singles

Stott's struggled to pick up the baseball off Max Fried, going one-for-seven against the Atalanta southpaw in his career. With Stott batting the seven-hole tonight, we'll take our chances on Philadelphia's second baseman failing to record a single.

He might only face Fried two times, but he could potentially face another lefthander out of the bullpen in A.J. Minter in the late innings, so the UNDER is the only direction we'd look.
