Best Blue Jays-Rockies prop bets today: Top SuperDraft player prop picks for Toronto's Saturday night showdown image

The story remains the same with baseball's most consistent, inconsistent team — the Toronto Blue Jays. They've reached the relatively easy portion of their remaining schedule, but have only managed a 5-5 record in the last 10.

All of that adds up to still remaining 1.5 games out of the final spot in the AL wild card. The Blue Jays did secure back-to-back wins, but it required a lot of offense on Friday night and also staving off a furious comeback attempt in a four-run ninth inning. Regardless, offense has always been the name of the game in the Mile High City, something that won't change on Saturday night. And for that reason, we'll look to the offense — specifically on Toronto's side — to cash a winning ticket in Colorado.

Per usual, we compiled our favorite SuperDraft player props for tonight's action in the big leagues, but for our Canadian audience, we're highlighting our favorite over/under bets for Saturday night's Blue Jays-Rockies showdown. Users who sign up for SuperDraft can pick their favorite over/unders via SuperDraft's Fantasy Props feature, bringing them closer to the action while having a chance to win cash prizes.

SuperDraft users can win 3X the amount wagered if their two-legged player prop parlay hits. Consequently, the more legs you add to your player prop parlay, the larger your potential payout becomes, but as the long odds indicate, completing a clean sweep is challenging.

Below, we'll break down four of our favorite SuperDraft player props for Saturday night's Blue Jays-Rockies game. Users don't necessarily have to parlay all four picks together, though. Instead, you could make separate two-legged parlays to increase your win probability or attempt to hit it big if all three picks come through.

Best Blue Jays-Rockies prop bets today: SuperDraft player prop picks for Saturday 9/2

*10x potential payout if users parlay all four correct picks

1. Yusei Kikuchi, SP, Blue Jays — OVER 5.5 strikeouts

Kikuchi has been rolling lately, at least in the strikeout department. After five consecutive starts of allowing one run or less, he's surrendered three and four runs in the last two starts. But we're not after runs, walks or even a win. We just want some swings and misses, or some called third strikes. And for our sake, Kikuchi has been good at just that. He's covered this number in four straight, including twice against the Guardians — who rank last in the league in strikeouts this season.

If he could do it against Cleveland, there should be no problems in Colorado tonight. The Rockies have the fifth-most strikeouts in baseball and have more than their fair share of free-swingers. Outside of Charlie Blackmon, Toronto's starter will find a Colorado lineup that is prone to striking out. Because of that, he'll find at least six victims tonight.

2. Davis Schneider, 3B, Blue Jays — OVER 1.5 bases

Welcome to the show, Schneider. The big leagues haven't been a problem for the Blue Jays' No. 13 prospect, who is slashing .412/.516/.863 in 15 games. With a line like that, it won't come as a surprise that he's had at least two bases in eight games so far. That includes last night in the Mile High City, a place known for being a hitter's paradise.

But just when you thought it couldn't get any better, it does. Schneider has six home runs on the season. Five of them have come against left handed pitching. The Rockies send Ty Blach to the hill tonight and he's allowing opposing hitters to bat .337 against him at Coors Field. While Blach has been better after the All-Star break, he's running into a freight train when Schneider steps up to the plate on Saturday night. Slashing .417/.481/1.063 against LHP, Schneider could put one into orbit tonight.

3. Charlie Blackmon, DH, Rockies — UNDER 6 fantasy points

Blackmon has only hit six fantasy points once in the last 10 games, and it would've been a push in this case. And Blackmon's only totaled three extra base hits in 64 at-bats against left handed pitching this season, something he will need in order to surpass six fantasy points.

The longtime Rockie has experienced some success against Kikuchi in the past, with two singles in three trips to the plate. That still isn't enough to beat this line. With that in mind, play the percentages and take the UNDER.

4. Alejandro Kirk, C, Blue Jays — OVER 1.5 bases

Kirk is heating up. Toronto's catcher has totaled at least two bases in each of the last four contests. With a double in each game, he's also surpassed the line thanks to multi-hit games in two of those four. Kirk took advantage of the hitter's park on Friday night, keeping the streak alive.

Blach relies heavily on his sinker, throwing it 56.8-percent of the time. In terms of secondary pitches, the Rockies starter throws a changeup 22.7-percent of the time. Kirk is batting .255 and slugging .345 against the sinker and .345 and .552 against the changeup. Blach's stuff is right in Kirk's wheelhouse. Trust him to keep the bases streak going on Saturday night.
