Best Blue Jays-Orioles prop bets today: Top SuperDraft player prop picks for Toronto's Monday night home tilt image

Despite falling 3-2 to the Angels in extras on Sunday, the Blue Jays walked away with a series victory while holding a two-and-a-half-game lead over the Red Sox in the AL Wild Card race. The Jays now welcome the AL East-leading Orioles into Rogers Centre for an early-week four-game set, with Chris Bassitt (10-5, 3.91 ERA, 4.39 xFIP) taking the mound opposite Kyle Gibson (9-6, 4.68 ERA, 4.29 xFIP) in Game 1.

Per usual, we compiled our favorite SuperDraft player props for tonight's action in the big leagues, but for our Canadian audience, we're highlighting our favorite over/under bets for Monday night's Blue Jays-Orioles AL East clash. Users who sign up for SuperDraft can pick their favorite over/unders via SuperDraft's Fantasy Props feature, bringing them closer to the action while having a chance to win cash prizes.

SuperDraft users can win 3X the amount wagered if their two-legged player prop parlay hits. Consequently, the more legs you add to your player prop parlay, the larger your potential payout becomes, but as the long odds indicate, completing a clean sweep is challenging.

Below, we'll break down four of our favorite SuperDraft player props for Monday night's Blue Jays-Orioles matchup. Users don't necessarily have to parlay all four picks together, though. Instead, you could make separate two-legged parlays to increase your win probability or attempt to hit it big if all four picks come through.

Best Blue Jays-Orioles prop bets today: SuperDraft player prop picks for Monday 7/31

*10x potential payout if users parlay all four correct picks

1. Vladimir Guerrero Jr., 1B, Blue Jays — OVER 6.5 fantasy points

Sunday was the lone contest this past weekend where Guerrero Jr. went OVER his fantasy point total, recording eight points thanks to two singles (+4), an RBI (+2), and a walk (+2). We think Vladdy's in line for his second consecutive seven-plus fantasy point showing as he's fared well against Gibson in their previous head-to-head meetings. Albeit a small sample, Vladdy's recorded four hits (three singles, one double) in nine career at-bats against Gibson.

With Gibson allowing a subpar hard-hit rate of 43 percent, we could see Guerrero Jr. barrel up a ball, recording his first extra-base hit against Gibson. Gibson's allowed opponents to rack up an expected batting average of .262 (20th percentile), likely leading to the Blue Jays generating ample run-scoring opportunities with plenty of baserunners. Vladdy's also done of fine job with runners in scoring position this season, slashing .303/.354/.444, which only aids in his chances of posting seven-plus fantasy points.

2. Chris Bassitt, SP, Blue Jays — OVER 5.5 strikeouts

Bassitt looks to make amends for his worst start of the season against Baltimore on June 13, allowing eight runs on 11 hits in just three innings. Although Bassitt left the game with an unthinkable negative three game score, he still managed to punch out five Orioles hitters in those three innings.

Given Bassitt pitches more like his typcial self, he's in a favorable spot to end his night with six-plus Ks for a second straight outing. Bassitt's always a threat to work deep into games, recording 18-plus outs 14 times this season. Chances are he ends the night with six-plus Ks if he's able to complete six full innings.

3. Kyle Gibson, SP, Orioles — UNDER 5 strikeouts

Gibson makes his second start of the season against Toronto, looking to replicate his seven-inning, one-run effort in the Orioles' 6-2 road win back on May 19. That day, Gibson finished with a respectable game score of 70, which sits tied for his second-highest game score of the season. Although he held the Blue Jays to one run over seven innings, it's challenging for pitchers to be similarly dominant against an offense in the following start.

Gibson still grades out as a below-average starter (90 ERA+), and we think the Blue Jays' offense fares much better than they did the first time. Gibson pitched one of his better games and ended the game with five punchouts. While we're aiming for a win rather than a push, considering Gibson rates below the league-average in K rate (19.1) and has punched out current Blue Jays hitters at a slightly lower 18.9 percent clip over 164 plate appearances, we think he struggles to rack up Ks.

4. Austin Hays, LF, Orioles — UNDER 0.5 singles

Bassitt's dominated against righthanded hitters this season, holding them to an opponent batting average of just .204, potentially resulting in Hays failing to record a single tonight. It also doesn't hurt that Hays is amid an ice-cold stretch at the plate, hitting .148 with eight hits in his past 54 at-bats over his past 15 games. Bank of the O's seven-hole hitter to go UNDER 0.5 singles.
