Best Blue Jays-Dodgers prop bets today: Top SuperDraft player prop picks for Toronto's Tuesday night tilt image

The Blue Jays escaped Dodger Stadium with a 6-3, 11-inning victory in Monday night's series opener thanks to another solid outing from Jose Berrios (5.0 IP, 5 H, 2 ER) coupled with a go-ahead two-RBI double by Daulton Varsho in extras. The two squads will do battle in Game 2 on Tuesday night, with Julio Urias (7-6, 4.76 FIP) toeing the rubber for L.A. opposite Chris Bassitt for Toronto (10-5, 4.55 FIP).

Per usual, we compiled our favorite SuperDraft player props for tonight's action in the big leagues, but for our Canadian audience, we're highlighting our favorite over/under bets for Game 2 of the Blue Jays-Dodgers interleague bout. Users who sign up for SuperDraft can pick their favorite over/unders via SuperDraft's Fantasy Props feature, bringing them closer to the action while having a chance to win cash prizes.

SuperDraft users can win 3X the amount wagered if their two-legged player prop parlay hits. Consequently, the more legs you add to your player prop parlay, the larger your potential payout becomes, but as the long odds indicate, completing a clean sweep is challenging.

Below, we'll break down four of our favorite SuperDraft player props for Tuesday night's Blue Jays-Dodgers matchup. Users don't necessarily have to parlay all four picks together, though. Instead, you could make separate two-legged parlays to increase your win probability or attempt to hit it big if all four picks come through.

Best Blue Jays-Dodgers prop bets today: SuperDraft player prop picks for Tuesday 7/25

*10x potential payout if users parlay all four correct picks

1. Julio Urias, SP, Dodgers — UNDER 5 strikeouts

Urias sits smack dab in the middle of all qualifying pitchers in strikeout rate this season (50th percentile), and with his K-prop sitting at five flat, we see some value on the UNDER tonight. Urias is struggling to generate swings and misses, sitting in just the 28th percentile in whiff rate (22.7 percent), and most recently he fanned just two batters last Wednesday in Baltimore.

As a unit, the Blue Jays offense is a disciplined group of hitters, ranking 10th in chase rate (26.7 percent) and seventh in whiff rate (24 percent). We think that leads to Urias staying UNDER five strikeouts for a sixth time in eight starts.

2. Vladimir Guerrero Jr., 1B, Blue Jays — OVER 6.5 fantasy points

Despite having six at-bats in the two-hole during Monday's 11-inning contest, Guerrero Jr. failed to eclipse 6.5 fantasy points, going one-for-six with a single and an RBI (four fantasy points). Although we didn't cash in on Vladdy's OVER on Monday night, we're going back to the well in Game 2, as the Blue Jays' All-Star first baseman is seeing lefthanded pitching well this season (.315 average vs. LHP).

Guerrero Jr.'s likely to be in an RBI spot with table setters George Springer and Bo Bichette hitting ahead of him, and with the power-hitting first baseman sitting in the 96th percentile in expected batting average and the 97th percentile in hard-hit rate, he's routinely a safe bet to go OVER his fantasy points prop.

3. Freddie Freeman, 1B, Dodgers — OVER 7.5 fantasy points

Like Guerrero Jr., Freeman had an off-night at the plate on Monday, going one-for-five with a single and a strikeout, going UNDER his fantasy point total. Despite the one-for-five showing, Freeman's as consistent as it gets at the plate, owning a .323 expected batting average (99th percentile) with an xSLG of .585 (98th percentile).

Freeman's above-average plate discipline metrics (68th percentile in whiff and chase rate) bode well in his chances of stringing together two-plus base knocks against Bassitt and the Blue Jays' bullpen tonight.  Freeman's likely to have a couple of at-bats with runners on, giving him an RBI opportunity to aid in the superstar first baseman's chances of totaling eight-plus fantasy points. Are you ever going to bet an UNDER involving Freeman? Sure, his fantasy point totals tend to be slightly inflated, but for good reason. The man is the definition of a professional hitter.

4. Chris Bassitt, SP, Blue Jays — UNDER 5 strikeouts

Although Bassitt gives you all he's got every fifth day, we're not sure he totals six-plus Ks against a Dodgers offense sporting the lowest chase rate in the bigs (25 percent).

Bassitt's five-pitch mix helps keep opposing hitters at bay, but he hasn't dominated in the swing-and-miss department this season (18th percentile whiff rate, 40th percentile K-rate). Yes, he's essentially a shoo-in to complete six full innings as he's done in four of his past five starts, but L.A.'s stingy group of hitters likely keeps Bassitt UNDER five Ks tonight.
