Best Blue Jays-Dodgers prop bets today: Top SuperDraft player prop picks for Toronto's Monday night showdown in L.A. image

In the nightcap of Monday's nine-game evening slate, the Blue Jays head to Chavez Ravine for the start of a three-game set against the NL West-leading Dodgers. John Schneider's crew looks to finish their six-game road trip on a positive note after dropping two of three against the Mariners in Seattle. Toronto still owns the third wild-card spot in the AL and is within striking distance in the AL East standings, sitting 6.5 games back of Baltimore entering the final week of July.

Winning a road series against the first-place Dodgers will not only help the Jays' chances of climbing back in the division race but also bolsters the notion that Toronto is a legit contender come October. With Jose Berrios (8-7, 3.82 FIP), taking the hill opposite Michael Grove (2-2, 4.81 FIP), Blue Jays fans and SuperDraft users ought to feel confident in Toronto's chances of taking an early 1-0 series lead.

Per usual, we compiled our favorite SuperDraft player props for tonight's action in the big leagues, but for our Canadian audience, we're highlighting our favorite over/under bets for the series opener between the Blue Jays and Dodgers. Users who sign up for SuperDraft can pick their favorite over/unders via SuperDraft's Fantasy Props feature, bringing them closer to the action while having a chance to win cash prizes.

SuperDraft users can win 3X the amount wagered if their two-legged player prop parlay hits. Consequently, the more legs you add to your player prop parlay, the larger your potential payout becomes, but as the long odds indicate, completing a clean sweep is challenging.

Below, we'll break down four of our favorite SuperDraft player props for Monday night's Blue Jays-Dodgers matchup. Users don't necessarily have to parlay all four picks together, though. Instead, you could make separate two-legged parlays to increase your win probability or attempt to hit it big if all four picks come through.

Best Blue Jays-Dodgers prop bets today: SuperDraft player prop picks for Monday 7/24

*10x potential payout if users parlay all four correct picks

1. Bo Bichette, SS, Blue Jays — OVER 1.5 bases

With Grove sitting in just the 13th percentile in expecting batting average (.277 xBA) and the 28th percentile in hard-hit rate (42.1 percent), Bichette's in a prime spot to snap out of his four-game hitless skid. Despite going 0-for-14 this weekend at T-Mobile Park, the All-Star shortstop remains in the 99th percentile in xBA (.314), and it's only a matter of time until he snaps out of his funk.

Grove also ranks in the bottom half of all qualifying hurlers in whiff (23.1 percent) and K-rate (20.4 percent), so Bichette's likely to put the baseball in play tonight, aiding in his chances of totaling two-plus bases via hits. The hitting conditions at Dodger Stadium tonight also benefit Bichette's chances to snapping his four-game hitless streak, as winds are blowing out eight miles per hour to left-center.

2. Vladimir Guerrero Jr., 1B, Blue Jays — OVER 6.5 fantasy points

Along with Bichette, Guerrero Jr.'s in line to take advantage of Grove and the Dodgers' bullpen, ending his night with seven-plus fantasy points. Vladdy started the scoring for Toronto in Sunday's come-from-behind win over Seattle with a two-out, two-run shot to right field in the fourth inning, and against a below-average starter in Grove (69 ERA+, 1.56 HR/9), there's a chance we see the Home Run Derby king go deep for a second-straight game.

A long ball easily gets us over 7.5 fantasy points, but even if Vladdy doesn't take Grove deep, a double (+4), RBI (+2), and a run scored (+2), can get us there. Guerrero Jr.'s been feeling himself since winning the Derby, slugging .680 over his past seven games, as an extra-base hit or two is well within reach.

3. Michael Grove, SP, Dodgers — UNDER 4.5 strikeouts

We alluded to Grove's season-long struggles in our first two prop picks, and with the rookie righthander eclipsing five strikeouts in just four of 12 outings this season, we're banking on another outing in which Grove fails to reach five-plus Ks.

Grove enters Monday night's contest off one of the most complete outings of his career last week in Baltimore (5.0, 5 H, 1 ER, 4 K, 2 BB), but he still couldn't reach five Ks in that start. Against a Blue Jays offense owning the ninth-lowest K-rate over the past two weeks (21.3 percent) look for Grove to stay UNDER 4.5 Ks.

4. James Outman, CF, Dodgers — UNDER 0.5 bases

Outman's significantly cooled off from his early-season surge but remains a steady bat at the bottom of L.A.'s order. That said, we're fading Outman tonight, expecting the Dodgers' centerfielder to cool down after recording a hit in five of his past six games.

Outman's 33.6 percent K-rate (fourth percentile) and 39.3 percent whiff rate (first percentile) don't bode well for his chances of recording a hit of Berrios, who's fresh off a nine-strikeout performance in his most recent start. Berrios is backed up by a stable Blue Jays bullpen sporting the sixth-lowest WHIP (1.23) that's likely to default to reliable relief arms Erik Swanson (1.05 WHIP) and Jordan Romano (1.17 WHIP) if Toronto carries a lead in the late innings.
