We have nine games across the majors on Wednesday night, with things getting underway at 6:40 p.m. ET between the Phillies and Marlins. The midweek slate wraps up with the Athletics continuing their three-game set against the Dodgers at 10:10 p.m. ET. If fans want to wager on Shane McClanahan, Adley Rutschman, Cody Bellinger, Mookie Betts, or other player props tonight, SuperDraft has you covered.
On SuperDraft, users can win 3X the amount wagered if their two-legged player prop parlay hits. Consequently, the more legs you add to your player prop parlay (maximum eight legs), the larger your potential payout becomes, but as the long odds indicate, completing a clean sweep will be challenging.
Below, we'll break down four of our favorite player props on SuperDraft for Wednesday night's MLB slate. Users don't necessarily have to parlay all four picks together, though. Instead, you could make a separate two-leg parlay to increase your win probability.

1. Ryan Mountcastle, 1B, Orioles @ Blue Jays - OVER 1.5 total bases
Mountcastle has been on a roll over his past three games, recording 13 total bases with five extra-base hits. The 26-year-old infielder ended July slashing .350/.386/.625 with five doubles, two home runs, and seven RBIs. Mountcastle will look to add to his total tonight against Blue Jays starter Yusei Kikuchi, who has a 3.69 ERA and .218 OBA at home this season.
Kikuchi has pitched well since the All-Star break, recording a 1.13 ERA and .241 OBA in his past three starts. However, the southpaw also has a BABIP of .368 over that span, which is slightly concerning. This season, righthanded hitters have been successful against Kikuchi, slugging .259 with an OPS of .751. This is great news for Mountcastle, who is dominating lefthanded pitching to the tune of a .337 batting average and 1.056 OPS. The 26-year-old first baseman has great numbers off Kikuchi, hitting .500 with four home runs and eight RBIs in 10 career at-bats. Based on those stats, plus Mountcastle going OVER 1.5 bases in six out of his past 10 games, this is a no-brainer selection!
2. Dylan Cease, SP, White Sox @ Rangers - OVER 6.5 strikeouts
Cease has had his fair share of struggles on the mound this season, which is just a microcosm of how 2023 has gone for the White Sox. However, the 27-year-old starter can still rack up strikeouts when locked in. Cease is coming off an average July when he produced a 4.50 ERA and .286 OBA in five starts but still had 33 strikeouts in 28 innings.
Cease has gone OVER 6.5 strikeouts in six out of his past 10 starts, which includes nine strikeouts against the Rangers in Chicago on June 20. In that outing, Cease allowed five hits, two earned runs, two walks, and a home run in six innings. He also had a K/9 of 13.5, making it his third-highest K/9 over that span. The Rangers haven't struck out a lot against righthanded pitching this season, as they are ranked 18th in strikeout percentage (22.2). However, Texas has a 33.3 strikeout percentage over their past three contests, which is the second worst in the majors behind the Yankees (35.2). We will take advantage of the Rangers' struggles at the plate and hope to cash the OVER.
3. Cody Bellinger, CF, Cubs vs. Reds - OVER 0.5 singles
Bellinger continues to rack at the plate for the Cubs, who decided to keep the veteran outfielder and try to make a push for the NL Central crown. The 28-year-old outfielder ended July slashing .400/.432/.690 with eight home runs and 24 RBIs. Bellinger opened August still on fire, going 3-for-6 at the plate with a home run and three RBIs in the Cubs' 20-9 win over the Reds on Tuesday night.
The veteran slugger has gone OVER 0.5 singles in five out of his past 10 games, which includes three games with two or more singles. Bellinger will be facing Reds starter Brandon Williamson tonight, who is allowing lefthanded hitters to slash .250/.327/.292 this season. Meanwhile, Bellinger is hitting a ridiculous .347 at the plate against southpaws. If this was any other player not named Bellinger, we might take the UNDER. However, with the way Bellinger is hitting, we'll take the OVER.
4. Mookie Betts, RF, Dodgers vs. Athletics - OVER 1.5 total bases
Betts might not be a popular play, as he's gone OVER 1.5 total bases in just four out of his past 10 games. However, he recorded six bases (2-for-5, a double, and a home run) on Tuesday night against the Athletics and will face Oakland starter Hogan Harris, who has a 7.15 ERA and .273 OBA on the road this season.
Additionally, righthanded hitters are slugging .247 at the plate with an OPS of .752 against Harris. Meanwhile, Betts is hitting .281 with 10 home runs and eight doubles against left-handed pitching this season. Also, did we forget to mention that the All-Star outfielder is riding an eight-game hitting streak? That said, all signs point to Betts going OVER 1.5 bases in what should be another win for the Dodgers.
