2017 Sporting News MLB All-Stars: Altuve, Judge, Stanton among top vote-getters image

Astros second baseman Jose Altuve and Yankees right fielder Aaron Judge led the way in the American League, while Dodgers closer Kenley Jansen and Marlins right fielder Giancarlo Stanton paced the voting in the National League during balloting for the 2017 Sporting News AL and NL All-Stars teams.

The teams were selected by a panel of 43 MLB executives. Altuve and Judge received the most votes among AL executives, appearing on 21 ballots each. In the NL, Jansen received the most votes, with 21, while Stanton appeared on the second-most ballots, at 19. 

Sporting News named its first MLB All-Star team in 1925.
