"My teammates do a great job of telling me to just be me, just go. No matter if I'm hot or not," Edwards said.

"If I'm not shooting the ball, PB [Patrick Beverley] looking at me crazy. Coach [Chris Finch] looking at me crazy. Everybody looking at me crazy like, 'What you doing?' I think they do a great job of giving me even more confidence than I already have."

Let's dive into some of the numbers behind the sophomore's big night.

10: Youngest ever with 10 3s in a game

Steph Curry? Klay Thompson? J.R. Smith? Nope!

Anthony Edwards stands alone as the youngest player ever in NBA history to drop 10 3-pointers in a single game.

At 20 years and 132 days, Edwards eclipsed the record previously held by Kyrie Irving (22 years, 311 days) for the youngest to ever do it.

After averaging 2.4 makes on 32.9 percent from three in his rookie season, Edwards is connecting on 3.1 makes on 8.6 attempts at 36 percent through 28 games this season, as he continues to develop as a marksman from long range.

1: Most threes in franchise history

No other player in the Minnesota Timberwolves history has hit more threes in a single game than Anthony Edwards.

Edwards' 10 triples broke the previous record of eight which he held alongside Kevin Love and Stephon Marbury.

7: Edwards joins elite company

LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving Luka Doncic and Zion Williamson. That's some company to be keeping for the No.1 overall pick in the 2020 draft.

Following tonight's performance, Edwards is just the seventh player in NBA history to score 2,000 points in his first 100 games at age 20 or younger.

4: Fourth-highest scoring game of his career

Edwards is beginning to make these special scoring nights a more frequent occurrence, dropping a career-high 48 points on the Golden State Warriors earlier this season.

Tonight's 38 is the fourth-most points he's scored in a single game and the fourth 30-point game of his career.
