It was another Liga MX weekend full of goals, with every single match seeing at least two goals scored.
That gave us plenty to work with as Goal took on the weekly task of deciding which goals scored were the finest of the Liga MX weekend. Our esteemed committee has settled on these three as the absolute finest from Jornada 8:
3. Andre-Pierre Gignac (Tigres) - 2-0 vs. Atlas

Andre-Pierre Gignac makes an appearance in the Goal of the Week countdown yet again, this time for the second of his two goals against Atlas this weekend. He has to adapt quickly, realizing the early ball from Ismael Sosa will fall somewhere neither the defenders nor goalkeeper can get it but also won't come to his foot.
The Frenchman lets the ball take a bounce and then snaps his head forward to meet it and make sure the ball sneaks just inside the goalkeeper's post to lock up the three points.
2. Fernando Uribe (Toluca) - 2-0 vs. Santos Laguna

This goal fits in the category of being a fine finish but earning its spot on the list thanks to what came before it. Rubens Sambueza, at the age of 34, continues to have one of the best deliveries in all of Mexico and may have the best left foot in the Americas.
It was showcased again Sunday afternoon, when Sambueza sent this free kick into the box missing only a touch of the head for it to find the back of the net. Uribe applies exactly that, and the ball is behind Jonathan Orozco before the Santos Laguna goalkeeper can even make an attempt to make it look like he had any say in the situation.
1. Victor Davila (Necaxa) - 2-0 vs. Monterrey

The glory this week goes to Victor Davila, but plenty of the credit has to go to Roberto Navarro. The Mexican teenager starts in his own half, dashing past a defender and eventually finding Davila. He gets the ball back and keeps possession despite a few attempts from Monterrey defenders to take it off him. Then, he's able to find Davila once again.
Davila still has work to do, though. He fakes the shot with his right foot to send Efrain Velarde past him. From there, he has only a few seconds to unleash his left-footed effort. Davila makes the most of it, doubling the lead for the Rayos on the way to an upset win over Rayados and earning Goal's Liga MX Goal of the Week prize in the process.
