Indiana Pacers All-Star guard Victor Oladipo will continue to be sidelined as he deals with a sore right knee, the team announced.

Oladipo hasn't taken to the court since playing only four minutes in the Pacers' 97-89 victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Nov. 17.

The team sent out a short statement regarding the injury update with further updates to be provided.

"The Indiana Pacers announced Friday that Victor Oladipo will be out indefinitely as he continues to deal with a sore right knee. Further updates will be provided when warranted," the statement read.

After landing in Indiana last season, Oladipo has been a shining light for the organization and enjoyed a stellar first season with his new team after struggling in Oklahoma.

Oladipo made his first All-Star appearance, won the league's Most Improved Award and earned a spot on the All-NBA Defensive Team along with the All-NBA Third Team.

The 26-year-old's star was continuing to rise through the opening 16 games with averages of 21.4 points, 6.6 rebounds and 4.7 assists.

His rebound and assist numbers are both career-highs. Without Oladipo in the line-up, the Pacers have gone 3-3 with their next game on Saturday against the resurgent Sacramento Kings.
