Hawaii coach Nick Rolovich made an interesting allegation against Oregon State coach Jonathan Smith on Friday.
My apologies for our players not being able to attend your Spring game. Ours was the same day, bad timing. Quick question, in the 203 years of coaching, none of you realized you couldn’t actively recruit another school’s players? Sent to campus? #leakydam #sloppybeavers pic.twitter.com/2djcmgFbLH

As you can see, he's essentially accusing Smith of tampering, which is something the NCAA takes seriously. In fact, the NCAA released a statement last year saying it would take more dramatic steps to stop tampering from coaches.
The working group expressed concern regarding unethical behaviors related to coaches recruiting student-athletes currently playing at other four-year schools.
The group expressed interest in increasing the consequences for coaches who break recruiting rules to seek out undergraduate and potential graduate students. The working group will ask the Committee on Infractions and enforcement staff to review the concept and provide feedback.
However, the tone of Rolovich's tweet is odd, especially when you look at the two hashtags he used. Also, he tagged six Twitter accounts in the photo. including Oregon State football compliance, Pac-12 compliance, the official NCAA account and — for some reason — LaVar Ball.
It's also worth noting Oregon State has three former Hawaii coaches on staff: Jake Cookus (special teams coordinator), Legi Suiaunoa (defensive coordinator) and Kefense Hynson (WR coach).
Others in the college football world took note of Rolovich's odd choice to make these allegations public.

Hawaii and Oregon State have a home-and-home scheduled for 2019 and 2021. All of a sudden that series looks a lot more interesting.
