Tiger Woods helped spearhead the startup TGL, which blends simulator golf with real indoor putting greens, but he finds himself fighting for one of the league's four playoff spots ahead of the final stretch of the regular season.
Woods' Jupiter Links Golf Club came into Tuesday's contest with just one win and two points on the season — and they didn't improve on that in their latest match. Because two-thirds of the league makes the playoffs, one spot remains up for grabs, but getting to the playoffs won't be easy for Jupiter Links.
Here's a look at how Woods and Jupiter Links GC can still make the TGL playoffs.

Tiger Woods’ TGL playoff scenarios
Woods and Jupiter Links GC sit fifth in the TGL standings after Tuesday's match, one point out of a playoff spot.
Three playoff spots have already been claimed, with Los Angeles Golf Club, The Bay Golf Club and Atlanta Drive GC coasting to the playoffs with three wins each, so that leaves just one spot up for grabs.
A loss over unbeaten The Bay (4-0) on Tuesday leaves Jupiter Links out of playoff position with one match remaining. Jupiter needs a win AND a New York loss in the final week of the season, or an overtime loss and a New York loss with some help in the holes won tiebreaker category.
Jupiter plays its final match one day after New York, so Woods will know exactly what his team has to do — or doesn't have to do — by the time he faces Atlanta.

How do the TGL playoffs work?
The top four teams, based on points, reach the TGL playoffs, with holes won being the first tiebreaker.
Once the playoffs are set, the No. 1 seed faces the No. 4 seed while the No. 2 seed faces the No. 3 seed in a traditional bracket-style format. The semifinals take place on March 17-18, while the championship is a best-of-three series that runs from March 24 through either March 25 or 26.
